Valda Valbrun, photographed in Garrison Middle School’s conference room, is the Education Change Leader tasked with increasing the underachieving school’s performance level up. Over the summer the management of Garrison Middle School, a Baltimore City Public School, was taken over by a private education company Global Partnership Schools, who employs Valbrun.
