The National Kidney Foundation of Maryland arranged this stunt to help promote the kidney donation to younger people. Those who raised more than $1,000 for the foundation are eligible to rapel. Jacobson has kidney disease in his family. His mother, Cindy, of Timonium is a transplant recipient. He also serves on the NKF of MD board.
