This is our backyard.


“I’ve had it for four years, and this is the first time I’ve really used it,” says Richard Brown of his gas-powered snow-blower. He used it to clear part of the 3500 block of Elm Ave and the alleyway behind the block in Hampden Saturday, February 6, 2010. The roof on his new shed and his home’s backyard awning collapsed under the weight of excessive snow.

We are thinking about moving from New Orleans to Baltimore in a few years. The recent storms were making me have second thoughts until I saw your photos. I still love Hampden. There\’s nothing beautiful about a hurricane, but bring on the snow. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Margaret. It doesn’t typically snow that often up here. And it’s pretty temperate year round. I’m a Baltimore fan. …also, come summer, there aren’t as many mosquitos, either.
