Turkey Bowl 2009

Sophomore running back CJ Williams flies into the end zone at M&T Bank Stadium to complete a 31-yard run in the third quarter of Calvert Hall’s 47-28 victory in the 90th Turkey Bowl on Thanksgiving morning. The Cockeysville resident rushed for a team-high 62 yards on 10 carries, helping the Cardinals snap a six-year losing streak to the Dons.

The Loyola sideline reacts in disbelief after what looked like their first touchdown. The play was recalled because the catch was made out-of-bounds with seconds left before half-time.

With seconds until half-time, and a seemingly spectacular end zone completion lost due to an out-of-bounds catch, Loyola senior Brendan Hartman’s completion is drug to the turf by Calvert Hall seniors Shane Ryan (9)and Trevon Wilks (8).
