I had a pretty good shoot at the Mingle at the Mill assignment, but none of my favorite shots explained the story that I knew the editor wanted. But I try not to let that stop me from making interesting images.

Throwing someone in Roland Park Country School’s holiday fair jail cost two tickets (three for adults). To leave the jail it costs the jailed two additional tickets. If the jailed cannot pay they will stay locked up for 3-5 minutes. Roland Park Country School hosted their annual holiday fair Saturday December 6, 2008, most of which, including the jail, was in the school’s new gym.

The sky was amazing that night.
